My Story

Jayne & Wick was born from a deeply personal desire to create candles that are truly safe to burn and beautiful to experience.

I have always found joy in natural things, but in 2019 everything shifted when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During those difficult months of treatment, when so much felt out of my control, scent became one of my greatest comforts. The simple ritual of lighting a candle and breathing in its gentle aroma created small pockets of joy and sanctuary in my home. It felt like a quiet act of self-care, grounding me, lifting my spirits, and bringing a profound sense of calm when I needed it most.

That experience opened my eyes to the hidden toxins in everyday products, particularly the hormone-disrupting chemicals found in paraffin wax and synthetic fragrances. I knew there had to be a better option, so I set out on a mission to create a premium range of candles from plant-based waxes, pure essential oils, and phthalate-free fragrances.

I'm delighted to share that I now live a happy and healthy, cancer-free life, and I want to play a small part in bringing that same moment of comfort to others. I founded Jayne & Wick from this deeply held desire, and I love the process of mixing and hand-pouring each candle, knowing these beautiful scents can bring comfort and calm into your home too.
